Chuck & Joy Kear reside in Lolo, Montana, in the shadow of the Bitteroot Mountains.

Joy and I were married in Colorado in 1994.  We moved to Montana in 2005.  We started using Nikon digital equipment.  We use Nikon exclusively except for a few peripheral items.  We retired in 2010 and started traveling the US, in our pickup and RV trailer, taking photographs.  We traveled over 17, 000 miles the first year and nearly 15,000 miles the second year.  Although we have photographed all across the United States, we are especially fond of Yellowstone N.P., Glacier N.P. and the Tetons.  We are thrilled being able to capture the beauty and essence of the Northwest.

Born in Wyoming and raised in Oregon, Idaho and Colorado, I began photographing the wonders of nature, scenic and wildlife starting in Colorado in 1969 with Nikon film cameras and lenses.

Joy Kear

I was born and raised in Englewood, Colorado and have spent time living in Virginia and Florida. Chuck and I began an adventure photographing in the Beartooth and Crazy Mountains of Montana and Yellowstone N.P. on the weekends.  My passion is capturing the awesome beauty of God’s creation.
